Josh Grabs a Fourth at Harris

            Thursday night Josh and the team headed to Harris, North Carolina to contend at Harris Speedway with USCS.  Friday night’s program started off with time trials, which Josh timed eight out of sixteen cars.  Josh placed 2nd in the Heat race action. Per the heat race finishes, the top four cars in each event regained their time and were lined up by a heads up inversion, placing Josh in the eight starting spot.  A yellow flag was displayed immediately after the green flag fell for an accident in turn two which happened directly in front of Josh, but he able to avoid.  Once the green flag was displayed again Josh was on the move.  He quickly found his was to the fifth position battling lap after lap to gain fourth.  About half way through the race Josh passed the fifth place car to get the fourth position.  A yellow was then displayed which bunched the field back up again and Josh went on to battle with the third place car for the remainder of the race, but feel short at the end resulting in  a fourth place finish. 

            The team was looking forward to another night at Harris Speedway on Saturday, but rains came in around 2:00 PM and last until after 7:00 resulting in the speedway canceling.  Josh and the team then went back to a fellow competitor’s garage in North Carolina where they checked over some things on the car and left the truck and trailer for next weeks competition in Georgia and North Carolina.  The team plans on heading down south on Thursday evening to compete Friday at Sugar Creek Speedway in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
