Another Top 10 for Josh

            After Friday nights rain out at Penn Can speedway, Josh and the team headed to New Egypt Speedway to compete in the URC sanctioned race.  Josh started eighth in the first heat race and was in spot seven by the end of the first lap.  With track conditions not being so great it took Josh a few laps to catch the sixth place car that he raced with for quite a while.  On lap eight of ten a one car spin brought out the caution and moved Josh into the sixth and final qualifying position.  In the remaining two laps Josh passed the fourth and fifth place cars to grab a fourth place finish.  Josh was slated to start the feature event in the ninth position, but do to a fellow competitor’s engine misfortunes Josh started in seventh.  On the start Josh fell back a few spots to the eleventh position, but as the race remained green he started passing cars.  By the time the first caution flew on lap twenty-three Josh was up to the seventh position.  On the final restart with two laps remaining Josh passed the sixth place car to cross the line in the sixth position.  In three starts with URC (Williams Grove, Lincoln and New Egypt) Josh has a ninth, eleventh and sixth place finish. 

            This weekend the team will be heading down to North and South Carolina to race with USCS.  They also plan to run Tuesdays Thunder on the Hill event at Grandview Speedway.
