Two Race Weekend Provides More Good Results

             Friday night Josh raced the 410 at Williams Grove Speedway for the Mitch Smith Memorial.  The nights event started off with time trials in which Josh timed 24th, with two decent laps for his first time out at the grove with the 410.  This gave Josh an eight place starting position for his heat race, in which he finished ninth prompting him to run the B-Main.  Going back on times for the line up of the B, Josh started in the fourth position and held his own for all ten laps to qualify for the nights thirty lap feature event.  In the feature Josh started in the twenty-second position and got off to a good start racing with the cars around him.  The thirty lap race went  non-stop.  Josh found himself with a twentieth place finish.

            Saturday night Josh had the 360 in action racing with URC at New Egypt Speedway.  In his heat race Josh started in the ninth and final position, with only five spots transferring to the A-Main.  The ten lap race went fast without and cautions and Josh worked his way up to the fifth position on the final lap in the fourth turn to grab that last qualifying spot.  In the feature Josh started in the eighteenth position and began passing cars as the green flag dropped.  The race which also only offered a few cautions came to an end quickly with Josh in the fourteenth position on a track that was to say the least rough. 

            All in all it was another good weekend for Weller Racing.  The team has been very consistent this year and has been rewarded with good finishes.
