Bad Break at Georgetown

Friday night July 1, Josh and the team headed to Georgetown, De to race at Georgetown Speedway. Josh started fifth in his heat race event and at the end of eight laps crossed the line in the third position. This qualified him for the nights feature event, giving him a seventh place starting position.
In the feature Josh had a good run going, getting some good breaks at other racers misfortunes and found him self running consistently in the top five through out the twenty-five lap feature. Nearing the end, Josh was running in the third position, with just three laps to go, when the roughness of the track surface causing him to have steering issues. With three laps to go Josh left the racing surface with a broken steering arm caused by the ruts and bumps throughout the track and the wear and tear they caused on the car. Josh was credited with a sixteenth place finish.
