After a rough start in the heat race, Josh passes 12 cars in the feature to bring home a 9th place finish Friday night.

Josh started his #63 in the 6th place position in the third heat race Friday night. Not getting a good start Josh dropped back to the 7th position as the car of Curt Michael made the pass on the first lap. Josh maintained with the top six throughout the heat race, but just did not have a chance to make a pass into the last qualifying position. In the B-main, Josh started in the 3rd place, dropping back to 5th within the first few laps. However Josh's car came to and he re-passed two cars to gain back his 3rd place starting position, which was where he finished the event.

In the feature event Josh started in the 21st position. At the drop of the green Josh was on a mission as the car was working perfectly. With a limited amount of cautions Josh did most of his passing under green flag conditions. Josh had a great race going and was making a lot of progress on the track when a caution was throw with less than five laps remaining. This bunched up the field and gave Josh another shot at passing more cars. Within the final two laps of the race Josh raced with fellow competitor Ed Aiken, side by side, finally making the pass stick as the received the white flag. Josh held on for the final circuit and finished in the 10th position. However at the scales there was a problem with the 1st place finisher who was disqualified, giving Josh a 9th place finish in the race.

Next weekend for the holiday Josh and the team are making a trip down south for a two race weekend with ASCS. Friday nights track is one that was visited earlier in the year resulting in a 3rd place finish. The track the team will hit Saturday night is the one where Josh earned his first career 360 win, the team is hoping for another repeat.
