Josh made his first attempt at the Empire Super Sprints. Josh started the Heat race from the 4th position and advanced to the 2nd position for the transfer to the A main
Josh started the feature from the 8th position and started his move forward, soon after the start of the race josh got some debris in his eyes and fell back to 13th. During a caution he was able to somewhat clean his eyes and moved forward to finish in the 9th position. |

Josh started off the evening by winning the 6 lap Lucas Oil Dash. Josh started this race because of his finish at the Harris Speedway the prior week.
Josh then started the heat race from the 3rd position and moved up to the second position for the finish of the heat race. This earned Josh the 4th starting position for the A main. Josh quickly went to work in the feature and by half way Josh was running in the 2nd position. Josh closed in on the leader several times during the second half of the race but was not able to make the pass and finished a strong second. |

URC Williams Grove Shot Drop Nationals
Josh put the wing back on and ran his first race of the year with URC. Josh started off the evening with time trials and time trialed a disappointing 23rd. This however put him on the front row of his heat and Josh easily won the heat race. This gave Josh the 17th position for the start of the A main. Josh steadily moved forward and finished a strong 9th place. 51 cars attended this event. |

Josh and the Weller Racing Team moved on to Lincoln Speedway for the regular event at Lincoln speedway. With Josh not being in the handicapping system he was forced to start ninth in the Heat race and finished 4th in the heat. This earned Josh a 15th place starting position in the A main. Josh finished 11th in the feature on Lincoln's super slick surface. 38 cars attempted to qualify for this event. |
